It must be applied in a warm area & takes about 1 hour to dry.

No more than a 6" long down near the hood pin pivot where the hood meats the belly pan. Received a quote for $700. Does anyone know of a shop repairing hoods for a reasonable price? For $700, you can dam near buy a new one. Webb9 mars 2015 · take it a part so you can get behind the cracks then gently grind a V under the crack then glue with a flexable 2 part epoxy i've used one for years its called duramix #4031 you can buy it at an auto paint store for added strength put some strips of plastic mesh in the glue if your careful and take your time you can hardly tell its been fixed

Webb20 nov. 2024 · Simply clean the inside hood area with an abrasive tool and mix up your Fiberglass sheet and resin. Apply the sheets and use a paint brush to spread extra resin on the sheet after application. Let it sit overnight and it'll set up hard as a rock. It saved me from having to buy a new hood. ABS- you could have a real problem gluing ABS. One comes to mind-called PROFESSIONAL WELDER. It's a 2 part epoxy cement. I've used it to bond ABS in a water drainage system.
