WebYou can not choose it completely manually. Lightroom detects what camera and lens you probably used or something, and if lightroom is wrong, then you're out of luck. In Classic you can manually tell it which camera and which lens (assuming there is a profile for that specific camera/lens/format combination). Examples include the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM and TAMRON SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD A007E. Updating my version of Lightroom tonight did not add these supported lenses to my lens profiles.

When I go to the Lightroom Develop module and look at Lens Corrections>Profile it still says: "Built in Lens Profile applied" I just checked for updates and it looks like version 10.1.1 is now available - is that you are running? I will update later today and check again.
WebJun 23, 2024. A lens profile file is relatively easy to alter in a text editor. It may be possible to get this to work for the new camera the same as it did for the old one.
